Heads up on an upcoming post that may not last

I am about to release a blog post that may be removed. I have heard that some of the more liberal sites are censoring authors who attempt to publish articles that may seem to treat targeted groups of people harshly. We will see how WordPress handles this article.

The article I am publishing is merely my personal position on the topic of abortion and sexual preference. I feel that I present my perspectives without malice, prejudice or hate. Mainly because I do not feel malice, prejudice nor hatred toward any individual, including those who are of the persuasion that is the topic of my coming post.

I am probably giving myself too much credit. My article does not provide much in the way of a new, intelligent, or unique take on this subject. I don’t expect it to be impactful enough to arouse much attention by the AI assigned to police the site for controversial posts. However,  I do express an opinion  in the article that I have not heard before. It could be a commonly held opinion that is generally inferred but I have just not noticed.

So, why do I even bother to post another article that just adds to the litany of other posts by Christians who are speaking out? Because, if there is one person reading what I write and taking it seriously, they deserve to know my heart in this extremely important matter. I also feel that anyone who has a voice on the internet, no matter how small, should be supporting like-minded thinkers who may be wondering what the broader consensus is.

There is also something in me that often avoids taking a solid stand on controversial topics, especially if those topics draw as much fire as these seem to lately. But I believe this to be important enough to warrant taking a stand. So this is also an exercise in self-growth.

I hope I am wrong about the potential for getting censored. But on the slim chance that I am not, I encourage you to take a look at this post sooner rather than later.
